Jail Museum Looks Into Unique Indiana Tradition

Pictured is an example of a pair of senior cords. The tradition is thought to have started in Indiana and consists of seniors — high school and college — personalizing corduroys with drawings representing their school, class and organizations. An exhibit of these cords will be on display at the Jail Museum in September.

Although the Kosciusko County Jail Museum is housed in the old county jail and contains many displays and artifacts from its time of incarcerating criminals, the museum aims to collect and preserve historical materials of all kinds.
