Auction Benefiting NWCC To Be Held Saturday
The time is almost here for the North Webster Community Center Heart of the Community Charity Auction and Raffle. It will be held from 5 p.m.-9 p.m. Saturday at the center, 301 N. Main St., (SR 13) North Webster.
It is advised that those who wish to attend buy tickets ahead of time, especially if you want to eat dinner and bid during the silent and live auctions. The 2013 event was a sell out. The auction list continues to grow with items donated by many businesses, industries, organizations and individuals across the area. Included are quality items of all kinds and in all price ranges. Savvy shoppers know the auction is a place to look for great deals.
Ticket holders do not have to be present to win the largest three raffle items. They are a choice of a new car, a pontoon, a motorcycle, a UTV, or $10,000. Second place raffle prize is $200 a month in groceries for a year and third prize is $100 a month in gasoline for a year.
The ticket assures admission to the event, a catered dinner, cash bar and an opportunity to bid on hundreds of items. Tickets continue to be for sale at the North Webster Community Center office, Senior Primelife Enrichment Center, Ace Hardware, NewMarket, A.K. Hare Salon, American Legion, Sue’s Creations, Golden Mermaid, Jill and Jennifer’s Salon, Freedom Express, Java Cottage, Lake City Bank, Laura Eyer Massage and Spa, all in North Webster.
Tickets can also be purchased at Sleepy Owl, Syracuse; Loose Moose Motorsports, Pierceton; and Countryside Antiques, Larwill. If any tickets are left, they can be bought at the east entry door of the NWCC beginning at 5 p.m. Saturday. Park at the NWCC lot or across SR 13 behind the North Webster Church of God.
