Walk-n-Wander Essay Winners Announced
Kosciusko Literacy Services announced the winners of the Walk-n-Wander Essay Contest at the September First Friday Event. Mikayla Mimnaugh won the Walk-n-Wander Essay Contest for Elementary Students.
A fourth grade student at Harrison Elementary, Mikayla won a set of five books and a $50 prize. Shown with Mikayla is her younger brother Tyler and Kosciusko Literacy Services Executive Director Cindy Cates. Tyler and other children visiting the Kosciusko Literacy Services booth each received a free book.
Nate Hertlein won the adult essay contest. Nate won a $50 Walmart gift card, donated by the Warsaw Walmart. Nate was unavailable for a photograph, as he had returned to college. Congratulations, Mikayla and Nate! Read all the essays and poems at www.kosciuskoliteracyservices.org.
