Charles K. ‘Chuck’ Litsey
Charles K. “Chuck” Litsey, 75, of Pierceton, Ind., passed away at 9:25 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 19, 2014, in his residence.
He was born Oct. 9, 1938, in Frankton, Ind., to Samuel and Madge (Hays) Litsey. He was united in marriage to Betty L. Ousley on June 28, 1987, who survives.
Chuck was an owner-operator truck driver for over 40 years. He served our country in the U.S. Army from 1962 to 1967.
He is survived by his wife: Betty L. Litsey, Pierceton; his step son: Craig W. Ousley, Martin, Ky.; and step daughter: Julia D. Blankenship, Warsaw, Ind.; five grandchildren: Dustin Hamilton, Brittany (Jeremy) Scutchfield, Amanda Jaide Ousley, Cameron Ousley and Autumn Grace Ousley; five great-grandchildren; his sister: Connie Pederson, Vero Beach, Fla.; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers and two sisters.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 22, at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 23, in the funeral home with Ward Etsie Allen officiating. Burial will in Hillcrest Cemetery, Pierceton.
