Charles Edward Lisenbee
Charles Edward Lisenbee, 77, of Winona Lake, Ind., passed away at 10 p.m. on Saturday, July 26, 2014, at his residence.
He was born on Aug. 13, 1936, in Belle County, Ky., to James Lisenbee and Nellie (Hampton) Lisenbee Hoskins. On Dec. 23, 2012, he was married to Eleanor (Koban) Lisenbee, who survives.
Charles had worked for many years as a coal miner and as a factory worker in West Virginia and Illinois. He was a resident of Kosciusko County, Indiana for the past 16years where he attended Church of the Nazarene in Warsaw, Indiana.
He is survived by two sons: Chuck (Teresa) Lisenbee, Warsaw, Ind.; Jim (Tracy) Lisenbee, Warsaw; daughter: Peggi (Ron) Wright, Winona Lake; 11 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and his brother: Jerome (Joyce) Hoskins, North Manchester, Ind.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two sons: Bobby Morris; Tyrone Lisenbee; five brothers; and one sister.
No visitation will be held. A memorial service will be conducted at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, July 30, 2014, at Church of the Nazarene, 1654 Fisher Ave., Warsaw, and officiated by Pastor William Keen. Arrangements were entrusted to Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, Warsaw.
