Chad A. Gottschalk
Chad A. Gottschalk, 46, of Warsaw, Ind., passed away at 5:17 p.m. on Friday, June 27, 2014, at Lutheran Hospital of Fort Wayne, Ind.
He was born on April 26, 1968, in Plymouth, Ind., to Richard Gottschalk and Kathy Tracy Gottschalk. On Sept. 9, 1989, he was married to Karen Hood, who survives in Warsaw.
He was a 1986 graduate of Bloomington High School South, and attended Warsaw Community Church. Chad was the owner of Warsaw Sport & Import Car Dealership in Warsaw for many years, and because of health issues had to give it up. He enjoyed fishing, animals, skiing, his dog and most of all he loved his family.
He is survived by his son: Andrew Gottschalk, Warsaw; daughter: Alexis Gottschalk, Warsaw; father: Richard (Dorothy) Gottschalk, Cape Coral, Fla.; mother: Kathy Tracy (Jeff Kirby), Warsaw; and his maternal grandmother: Avonell Tracy, Plymouth.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Wendell Tracy and Bob and Leona Gottschalk.
Visitation will be held from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, July 1, at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Rd., Warsaw. His memorial service will be conducted at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, July 2, at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home and officiated by Pastor Denny Wilson.
Memorial donations in Chad’s name may be made to the charity of one’s choosing and would be appreciated by his family.
