Arrest Made In 2009 Molesting Case
A 23-year-old was arrested by Warsaw Police on Wednesday after he allegedly molested a young girl 5 years ago.
Terren Raphael was 18 when his accuser, now a 15-year-old girl, said she was sexually molested and threatened at the time to stay quiet. Warsaw Police began their investigation with the Indiana Department of Child Services after receiving the complaint from staff at Warsaw Community Schools.
According to a press release, Raphael, molested the 11-year-old girl that the suspect and his mother lived with in Warsaw.
Raphael was booked into the Kosciusko County Jail on two Class B felony counts of child molesting with a victim under the age of 14. He is being held on $10,000 surety bond. Warsaw Police say additional charges may be filed in this case.
Warsaw Police were assisted in their investigation by the Indiana Department of Child Services, Warsaw Community Schools, and the Kosciusko County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office.
