The Panthers shelled Warsaw starter Whitney Sleeth, who was on the hook for 13 hits and 12 runs allowed in five innings of work. Troxel picked up the win in relief for NorthWood, taking over in the second after Peyla allowed five runs in one-plus inning of work. Troxel allowed four hits and four walks the rest of the way, with just one run earned.
Each team committed four errors, and Warsaw scratched out just six hits overall but drew eight walks.
