Lapsit
It’s our last week of Spring Lapsit! So far we’ve had a lot of fun singing songs and reading books about Piggies. If you missed out on the first three weeks, you are welcome to come join us for our last session. Lapsit is intended for infants-36months.
Spring Story Time
Worms have wiggled their way into this week’s Spring story time! This week Miss Julie will read some fun wiggly worm stories including Diary of a Worm, by Doreen Cronin and Superworm, by Julia Donaldson. Make your own fun worm friend to take home and munch on a delicious snack. Spring story time is a fun way to focus on teaching young ones spring related words and ideas. Join us for fun stories and crafts this week and next week as we celebrate the end of Spring! Story time takes place in the meeting room on Wednesday’s at 10:15 a.m. or 1:30 p.m. as well as Thursdays at 7 p.m.
After School Is Cool Tuesdays
Come to one of our most exciting After School Is Cool Tuesdays! This week we’ll be having a LEGO Club day! With thousands of LEGOs available, the creative possibilities are endless. You can build, play, design, and much more! This is our first time trying the LEGO club, so if you’re interested, make sure to come and join in on the fun.
Knitting Club
The knitting club will meet this 2 p.m. Friday, May 2. The group meets upstairs and always has fun working on different projects and techniques together. Whether you’ve been knitting for 40 years or 40 minutes, you are welcome to join the group for a good time!

Autism Awarness
April is a month that celebrates several holidays and promotes awareness in many different areas. Along with focusing on poetry, habitats, and amateur radio, April is National Autism Awareness Month.
Here at the library we have many resources you can check out to participate in focusing on Autism awareness! For Autism research, read Ahead With Autism,Autism: Now What? or The Hidden Child. Teens might be interested in Autism by Peggy Parks. Check out My Friend Has Autism to read to your younger children. We also have several DVDs focused on Autism, ranging from informative to award winning stories. If you are looking to promote awareness, check out an item and share with a friend.
