Warsaw Community Schools has partnered with United Way to bring to the Warsaw area Kindergarten Countdown Camp.

Kindergarten Countdown is a kindergarten orientation program to help children prepare for school. Space is limited. The program is reserved for children without pre-k experience and who are of kindergarten age (must turn 5 by Aug. 1, 2014).

Registration is now open for the free, 17-day summer camp.

Free transportation to and from school (some limitations may apply) and free breakfast and lunch will be provided.

The Kindergarten Countdown Camp will be held from 7:45 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 10, through Tuesday, July 1, at Washington Elementary School.

Registration deadline is May 15.

Pre-Assessments will be held May 20, at the Warsaw Community Schools Educational Services Center, located at 1 Administration Dr., Warsaw.
