Amber Lemberg earned the win, giving up just four hits and striking out seven.
Memorial were also plagued with six errors.
Wawasee’s JV pitched a shutout in beating Memorial 7-0. Two runs in the third inning would have been enough, but a five-spot in the sixth inning provided needed insurance to move the Lady Warriors to 6-0 on the farm. Hannah Haines earned the win with six strikeouts in the circle.
Wawasee will get back at it Friday at NorthWood.
