Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department
Officers of the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department recently investigated the following accidents:
Saturday, April 19, 9:25 p.m. SR 13 and East 600 South, Pierceton. Driver: Curtis L. Sibert, 55, East 700 South, Claypool. Driver struck deer. Damages: up to $2,500
Saturday, April 19, 2:31 p.m. Country Club Road near East 400 South, Warsaw. Drivers: Justin A. Oberlin, 18, Hunters Ridge, Warsaw; Hope E. Everly, 49, Ross Ave., Warsaw. Oberlin rolled through a stop sign and collided with Everly. The collision forced Everly off the road and hit a Century Link junction box. Everly and her passenger, Amanda Everly of Warsaw, in the vehicle were transported to Lutheran Hospital. Oberlin was transported to KCH for a head injury. Damages: up to $25,000
Saturday, April 19, 1:29 p.m. West 400 North near North 150 West, Warsaw. Drivers: Paul R. Earl, 71, Sherwood, Hastings; Connie S. Gayheart, 37, North 400 West, Warsaw. Earl pulled out in front of Gayheart causing a collision. Damages: up to $10,000
Saturday, April 19, 8:31 a.m. U.S. 30 near South 325 East, Warsaw. Driver: Nakya M. Ramseyer, 18, N. Wells Street, Fort Wayne. Ramseyer dozed off at the wheel, and her vehicle drifted into the median. When she came to, she overcorrected. The vehicle crossed back over both lanes of traffic, exited the roadway, rolled and came to a rest on its wheels. Marijuana and methamphetamine was determined to be a possible factor in the accident, and Ramseyer was transported to KCH for a blood draw. Damages: up to $25,000

Officers of the North Webster Police Department recently investigated the following accidents:
Sunday, April 20, 12:03 a.m. SR 13 near East 900 North, Syracuse. Driver: Thea N. Sainer, 23, EMS T17A Lane, Leesburg. Driver struck deer. Damages: up to $2,500
Warsaw Police Department
Officers of the Warsaw Police Department recently investigated the following accidents:
Saturday, April 19, 6:43 p.m. Center Street near Eastlake Drive, Warsaw. Drivers: Jeanne A. Coble, 64, North 475 East, Leesburg; Samuel Romero, 28, Frontage Road, Warsaw. Coble rear-ended Romero who was stopped at a traffic light. Both drivers refused EMS. Damages: up to $2,500
