Propoganda Or Poll?
Dear Editor,
Yesterday I got a call from what I thought was a pollster, but it turned out to be a 15-minute commercial for the Kubacki campaign.
The pollster did not even ask real questions, but rather one-sided propaganda items. Do I care about children as much as Rep. Kubacki does? Do I understand how hard Rep. Kubacki works to make decisions for each of us? Do I agree with Rep. Kubacki that the United States should remain unified as a country?
By the end of the call, I was half-expecting the pollster to ask if I knew Ms. Kubacki had personally brought peace to the Middle East and ended world hunger.
In the most bizarre part of the call, the pollster wouldn’t even stay in the present time. I was actually asked questions about the Mourdock/Lugar campaign of 2012. This poll is a piece of work.
I can see why Kubacki’s team does not want to talk about the actual issues of this campaign. Kubacki is in a bad spot if the discussion turns to defending traditional marriage, keeping the feds out of our education standards, respecting the freedom of churches to do outreach ministries, or protecting our Second Amendment rights. Kubacki has failed on these counts.
As for me, I intend to take advantage of early voting to register my support for Curt Nisly in House District 22. This way I can tell the next pollster, I already voted.
