Turning Point Counseling Center Opens In Webster
Turning Point Inc. is a counseling center in the middle of North Webster. The small agency seeks to provide excellence in the professional counseling/therapy services to individuals, couples and families in Northeast Indiana.
The not-for-profit organization believes in “health, healing, hope, growth, recovery and transformation as foundational goals for ourselves and those we have the privilege of serving,” said Andy Bautz of Turning Point. “We believe in a biopsychosocial-spiritual theoretical approach. This means that we look at helping clients in all major domains of their lives. We respect and value the dignity of each individual. We value the beauty of difference and equality as we walk alongside our clients.”
At TPI, the goal is to meet clients where they are, welcome them, form relationships with them and begin to help them reach their goals, whatever they may be. “We offer a cost friendly service that rivals the cheapest in the state as we seek to give all who desire services the opportunity to obtain them,” added Bautz. “This service isn’t possible without those who have committed to support the cause.”
North Webster Church of God has offered to scholarship half of the cost of every session Turning Point provides for the 2014 year. The most any client would pay for a session would be $40. Turning Point houses two full-time, master’s level therapists.
