KCH Health and Wellness Center staff arrived to work at around 4:50 a.m. this morning only to find that the business had been burglarized.

Warsaw Police quickly responded to the center, located at 1500 Provident Dr. on the Kosciusko County Hospital campus. Pry marks were located on an exterior door where the suspect or suspects gained entry. Officer’s checked the rest of the building and found that entry was also gained to Medstat.

In both locations, the perpetrator(s) rummaged through desk drawers, filing cabinets and closets. Papers and other items were thrown around the office areas. An undisclosed amount of cash and some prescription narcotics were taken. Employees of Medstat and the Health and Wellness Center are taking inventory today to see what else may be missing.

Warsaw Police Lt. Kip Shuter said evidence does not suggest that any client information was compromised.

Detective’s and Kosciusko Crime Scene Investigators were called to the scene and are continuing their investigation.
