Lakeland Financial Announces New Executive VP
Lakeland Financial Corporation (Nasdaq:LKFN) and Lake City Bank announced today that they have promoted Kristin Pruitt, the company’s general counsel, to executive vice president.
Pruitt, who joined Lake City Bank in 2008, oversees risk management, compliance, corporate governance, legal affairs and people development. She is a member of the bank’s Management Committee, and serves as Board Secretary of Lakeland Financial Corporation, the bank’s holding company.
“Since joining the company in 2008, Kristin has proven herself to be an invaluable member of the bank’s management team,” said Michael Kubacki, chairman and chief executive officer. “She has strengthened our compliance and risk management functions, and has played a leadership role as we continue to grow.”
Pruitt has a bachelor’s degree cum laude from the University of Notre Dame and a juris doctor degree magna cum laude from Case Western Reserve University School of Law. Before joining Lake City Bank, she served as Assistant General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer for 1st Source Bank in South Bend. Previously she practiced law with Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom in Washington, DC.
