AKRON – The winter weather continues to have an impact on the area high school basketball scene.

Tippecanoe Valley High School announced Thursday afternoon that its’ boys basketball game scheduled for Friday night at Northfield has been postponed. The Three Rivers Conference contest is postponed due to the fact that Northfield will not be in school tomorrow.

The game has been rescheduled for Jan. 14 at Northfield with the JV contest starting at 6:15 p.m.

The Vikings, who are 5-2 on the season, will host Plymouth (4-3) Saturday night with the JV game at 6:15 p.m.

The TVHS Athletic Department also announced Friday that its girls basketball game rescheduled for Saturday (Jan. 11) versus Northfield has been postponed again due to the fact that Northfield can not travel Saturday. The game will now be played at Valley on Jan. 30 at 6:15 p.m.

The Valley girls team, which has not played since Dec. 23, is slated to play at NorthWood Tuesday night. The Vikings are 7-4 on the season.
