Warsaw Christian Honors 29 Veterans
At total of 29 veterans were honored in person at Warsaw Christian School’s Veteran’s Day chapel service.
Additional veterans who were family members or friends of students were pictured in a slide show indicating service from all branches of the military from World War I to the present.
Miss Bowdler’s fifth grade class performed a skit telling the history of how the “The Star Spangled Banner” was written, and another about what a veteran is. The students sang the “Salute to the Services,” a medley of each military song. “It’s a Grand Old Flag” was performed on the flute by second grader Adrian Bowdler. Patriotic songs served as special tribute to those who sacrificed to have and maintain our American freedom.
