Area Incident Reports
Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department
Officers of the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department recently investigated the following incidents:
- Tuesday, Nov. 19, 12 a.m. Sometime during the overnight hours, someone gained access to a Home City delivery truck and drove it into the side of the building in the 7000 block of North SR 13, North Webster. Damages were reported at over $2,500.
- Monday, Nov. 18, 12:14 a.m. Kenneth Oliver Jr reported criminal recklessness involving hazing with a deadly weapon resulting in injury. The incident was reported in the 200 block of South Robinson Lake Road, Pierceton.
- Monday, Nov. 18, 10:07 a.m. Warsaw Church of God, Rozella Road, was the victim of criminal recklessness. It appeared a vehicle struck a carport resulting in damage near the roof life.
- Monday, Nov. 18, 10:59 a.m. Arden Warner reported an attempted fraud by a telephone scam.
- Monday, Nov. 18, 11:07 a.m. John Slone reported a theft of power tools from a garage in the 5300 block of West Turner Road, Claypool. A suspect was identified, but not arrested.
Syracuse Police Department
Officers of the Syracuse Police Department recently investigated the following incident:
- Tuesday, Nov. 19, 4:26 a.m. Ross Jacobs reported an intimidation in the 200 block of Greenhaus Drive, Syracuse.
Warsaw Police Department
Officers of the Warsaw Police Department recently investigated the following incidents:
- Monday, Nov. 18, 5:23 p.m. Officers responded to Da-Lite Screen, North Detroit Street, for a domestic battery.
- Monday, Nov. 18, 4:22 p.m. Kohl’s reported an adult female and a juvenile female were taken into custody for shoplifting clothes, perfume, household items, makeup and an iPhone case. The adult female, Alexis Nicole Travis, 18, of Warsaw, was arrested. The juvenile female was released to her parents.
