Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department
Officers of the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department recently investigated the following accidents:
Thursday, Nov. 7, 8:51 p.m. South Ferguson Road and SR 25, Warsaw. Driver: Barbara A. Goslee, 58, South Meadow Drive, Warsaw. Goslee was attempting to turn onto Ferguson Road, but passed the intersection and struck a steel pole. Damages: up to $5,000
Thursday, Nov. 7, 8:11 p.m. South County Farm Road, Warsaw. Drivers: Justin M. Crump, 32, South 200 West, Claypool; and Cynthia A. Miller, 58, South 100 West, Silver Lake. Crump was southbound on County Farm Road when his vehicle left the road, jumped the ditch and struck a fence post and guide wire becoming coming to rest in a corn field. Miller came upon the accident site and struck a chunk of concrete that was thrown into the road from the fence post. Crump said he had teeth pulled earlier in the day and took some medication prior to driving. Crump was taken to Kosciusko Community Hospital for treatment. Damages: up to $25,000
Milford Police Department
Officers of the Milford Police Department recently investigated the following accident:
Thursday, Nov. 7, 5:36 p.m. 804 S. Higbee St. Drivers: Jacob J. Harris, 40, Wildwood Drive, Warsaw; and Linda K. Anderson, 45, Peregrine Perch, Goshen. Harris was backing from a parking space and collided with Anderson’s vehicle. Damages: up to $2,500
Syracuse Police Department
Officers of the Syracuse Police Department recently investigated the following accident:
Thursday, Nov. 7, 7:16 p.m. East Pickwick and South Harkless drives. Drivers: Kendra A. Rodriguez, 20, North Blaine Street, North Webster; and Linda D. Stahly, 51, Turtle Bay Drive, Syracuse. Rodriguez said she stopped at the stop sign but failed to see Stahly’s vehicle and pulled into the intersection striking it. Damages: up to $5,000
Thursday, Nov. 7, 5:45 p.m. South 600 East and East 700 South, Pierceton. Driver: Timothy J. Landrigan, 21, East 700 South, Pierceton. Driver struck a deer. Damages: up to $5,000
Warsaw Police Department
Officers of the Warsaw Police Department recently investigated the following accidents:
Thursday, Nov. 7, 6:17 p.m. 315 N. Detroit St. Drivers: Miranda M. Wakefield, 17, Anchorage Road, Warsaw; and Nicole A. Shively, 30, South Southwood Drive, Warsaw. Wakefield was driving through the parking lot when Shively was backing from a parking spot. Wakefield said she honked and tried to drive around Shively when the accident happened. Wakefield was driving without corrective lenses, which is a stipulation of her license. Damages: up to $5,000
Thursday, Nov. 7, 4:09 p.m. North Detroit and Anchorage Road. Drivers: Jason E. Prescott, 41, Highlander Drive, Warsaw; and Lisa C. Drubert, 38, Hartzler Street, Warsaw. Prescott was approaching the intersection when he looked away and collided with the rear of Drubert’s vehicle. Damages: up to $5,000
Thursday, Nov. 7, 3:42 p.m. Shelden Street and West 300 North. Drivers: Jimmie S. Queener, 76, Cambridge Drive, Goshen; and Austin J. Grindle, 18, South Woodland Trail, Warsaw. Queener said she stopped at the stop sign on Shelden Street but failed to see Grindle’s approaching vehicle and pulled into its path. Damages: up to $50,000
Thursday, Nov. 7, 1:02 p.m. Detroit Street and Enterprise Drive. Drivers: Amy E. Melton, 43, EMS C29 Lane, Warsaw; and Walter J. Baker, 70, South 550 West, Warsaw. Melton was pulling onto Detroit Street from Enterprise Drive and failed to see Baker’s vehicle. Damages: up to $25,000
