Officers of the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department recently investigated the following accidents:
Tuesday, Oct. 29, 8:30 p.m. East Old 30 and South 325 East, Warsaw. Driver: William R. Bogner, 52, West Lincolnway, Larwill. Driver struck a deer. Damages: up to $10,000
Tuesday, Oct. 29, 6:48 p.m. North 150 West and West McElroy Drive, Warsaw. Driver: Juan C. Nunez, 31, East Timberline Circle South, Warsaw. Driver struck a deer. Damages: up to $5,000
Tuesday, Oct. 29, 3:30 p.m. West Old Road 30 and North 800 West, Atwood. Drivers: Donald L. Boyer, 81, North 775 East, Rochester; and Jack L. Carpenter, 49, SR 331, Bourbon. Boyer said he did not see Carpenter’s approaching vehicle and pulled into his path of travel. Carpenter said Boyer failed to stop at the stop sign. Damages: up to $25,000
Tuesday, Oct. 29, 2:03 p.m. West 400 North, Warsaw. Driver: Stephanie A. Gudeman, 36, West 400 North, Warsaw. Driver struck a deer. Damages: up to $5,000
Warsaw Police Department
Officers of the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department recently investigated the following accidents:
Tuesday, Oct. 29, 5:17 p.m. East Center and South Cleveland streets. Drivers: James R. Custer, 27, East 750 North, Leesburg; and Joel J. Miller, 19, Kuder Lane, Warsaw. Both drivers were eastbound on Center Street when Custer failed to notice Miller’s vehicle stopped for traffic and rear-ended his vehicle. Damages: up to $2,500
Tuesday, Oct. 29, 10:11 a.m. West Center and North Lake streets. Drivers: Kathy L. Slone, 48, East 700 South, Claypool; and Shari L. Benyousky, 43, West 200 South, Warsaw. Slone said she was distracted by talking on her cell phone and ran a red light, colliding with Benyousky’s vehicle. Damages: up to $2,500
