Marilyn ‘Sue’ Wolferman
Marilyn ‘Sue’ Wolferman, 81, of Milford, Ind., passed away Wednesday, Oct. 23, 2013, at her residence.
She was born on Feb. 26, 1932, in Fort Wayne, Ind., to Otto and Elva (Charlton) Wiggs. She married Donald P. Wolferman on Aug. 20, 1950; he preceded her in death on Dec. 20, 2008.
Sue loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed crafts, painting china, flowers and bowling, and was a member of the Syracuse bowling league for many years. She really enjoyed music, both in the church and the community, and attended the Wawasee Community Bible Church.
She is survived by two daughters: Deb (Walt) Pickerell, Plymouth, Ind.; Darcy (Dennis) Hively, Syracuse, Ind.; and a son: Doug (Kristy) Wolferman; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a sister: Patricia Schrock; and a brother: Duane Wiggs.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 27, at Mishler Funeral Home, Milford. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 27, at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Milford Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the Lions Club or The Center for Hospice and Palliative Care.
