Milford Police Solve Cases
Milford Police Department has solved a theft case and criminal mischief incidents, however, the investigations are continuing.
The theft of a mini-motorcycle from the residence of Kenneth Mounsey, West First Street, Milford, on Sept. 16, has been resolved with the mini-motorcycle recovered and two of the three suspects admitting to the thefts. Charges are pending on all three individuals, with information on a juvenile being turned over to the probation department. According to Milford Town Marshall Rich Miotto, a tip was received on the theft and several days later the vehicle was recovered in Elkhart County, just north of Milford.
Also solved was the shooting out of windows on three vehicles south of Milford on Old SR 15. These incidents occurred in August and involved vehicles registered to Cassandra Martinez, Mike Bronenberg and Norfolk Southern. Three of the five individuals involved have confessed to the vandalism.
Milford Police are continuing the investigation into the breakage of vehicle windows reported Sept. 10 at the residences of Pete and Becky Doll and Mike Hobbs, on North Old SR 15, Milford and the home of Anna Gonzales, Syracuse Street.
