Indy Jazz Fest Adds Free Concert
The Indy Jazz Fest “All Around Town” is Sept. 12-21. The annual 10-day festival will include a free show sponsored by IndyGo and Indianapolis Marion Country Library on Sunday, Sept. 15. The concert will be held at the Indianapolis Central Library’s Clowes Auditorium, 40 E. St. Clair St.
Afro Latino Jazz with Direct Contact joins the 10-day 2013 Indy Jazz Fest lineup for a free concert for the whole family. The Direct Contact Latin Jazz trio is known throughout the Midwest for its high-energy music incorporating traditional Afro Latino instruments and rhythms.

The Indianapolis Marion County Library and IndyGo sponsor this concert. Throughout the festival, IndyGo provides patrons an easy way to plan transportation around the entire 10-day lineup which includes more than 20 shows in more than a dozen venues “all around town,” most of which are located within walking distance of an IndyGo stop.
