Officers of the Warsaw Police Department recently investigated the following accidents:
Wednesday, Aug. 28, 9:48 a.m. U.S. 30 East, Warsaw. Drivers: Unknown; Dolores A. Hepler, 79, West Syracuse Street, Milford. Hepler stated she was eastbound on U.S. 30 when a maroon van began to pass her vehicle and sideswiped Hepler’s vehicle without stopping. Damages: up to $2,500
Wednesday, Aug. 28, 1:14 p.m. 315 N. Detroit St., Warsaw. Drivers: Kathleen R. Cone, 64, East 900 North, Syracuse; and Karissa J. Deardorff, 26, North Parks Schram Road, Warsaw. Cone was backing out of a parking space when she backed into Deardorff’s vehicle. Damages: up to $2,500
Wednesday, Aug. 28, 3:26 p.m. North Harrison Street and East Fort Wayne Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Rose A. Hale, 55, North Johnson Street, Warsaw; and Christine A. Culver, 28, Winchester Street, Winona Lake. Hale was traveling west on East Fort Wayne Street when she proceeded through the intersection of North Harrison Street striking into Culver, who did not have a stop sign. Culver was treated at the scene for complains of pain to her left shoulder and shortness of breath. Damages: up to $10,000
Wednesday, Aug. 28, 4:31 p.m. South Lake and West Center streets, Warsaw. Drivers: Timothy W. Croy, 28, West 250 South, Warsaw; and Christine Justice, 69, Parent Drive, Warsaw. Croy pulled into the roadway and ran into the rear passenger side of Justice’s vehicle. Damages: up to $2,500
Wednesday, Aug. 28, 6:30 p.m. 2519 E. Center St., Warsaw. Driver: Bradley K. Clark, 27, North 500 East, LaPorte. Clark forget the air conditioner on top of his vehicle and struck into an overhang at the Wyndham Hotel. Damages: up to $5,000
Wednesday, Aug. 28, 10:22 p.m. 1695 W. Lake St., Warsaw. Drivers: Benson R. Netherland, 40, Sue Avenue, Warsaw; and Rita Wrenn, Rosemont Avenue, Warsaw. Wrenn notified police of a hit and run crash to her vehicle that was parked at the time of the crash. Wrenn provided the license number for Netherland’s vehicle who police located at his residence. Netherland did state he had felt a bump when he backed up but did not notice damage to the area of Wrenn’s vehicle he thought he’d struck. Damages: up to $2,500
Milford Police Department
Officers of the Milford Police Department recently investigated the following accidents:
Wednesday, Aug. 28, 12:25 p.m. South Main Street and East Emeline Street, Milford. Drivers: Laura J. Tenney, 60, South 700 East, Pierceton; and Donald L. Klotz, 54, CR 21, Goshen. Tenney was backing out of her parking space on the northeast corner of Main and Emeline streets when she backed into Klotz’s vehicle. Damages: up to $2,500
