Murray Michael Graves
Murray Michael Graves, 63, of Claypool, Ind., passed away at 9:01 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 25, 2013, in Parkview North Hospital of Fort Wayne, Ind.
He was born Feb. 3, 1950, in Fort Wayne to Murray E. and Mary E. (Sheets) Graves. He was raised in Larwill, Ind., and graduated from Larwill High School in 1968 where he was an outstanding basketball player. He began working for R.R. Donnelley and Sons in June of 1968 and retired in February of 2012 after 44 years of service. He loved NASCAR, coaching and watching his son Chad.
He is survived by his wife: Candy Graves, Claypool; a son: Chad (Cara) Graves, Columbia City, Ind.; a daughter: Jodi Langston, New Orleans, La.; sons: Paul (Steph) Wiley, Spring Arbor, Mich.; and Peter Wiley, Seoul, South Korea; grandsons: Chase and Cooper Graves; and granddaughters: Madison, Summer and Paige Wiley.
Visitation is from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 29, at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw. Funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home with Pastors Steve Conger and Cindy Gackenheimer officiating. Interment services will be private.
