Based around the heirloom tomato, and held at the Old Train Depot and Brower Park in Pierceton, The Heirloom Tomato Festival includes crafts, live music, wonderfully prepared food and a farmers market. The heirloom tomato display is a sight to see!
The festival takes place this Saturday and features informative garden speakers who will talk about growing your own natural foods, problems in the garden, your food supply and seed saving. The festival is rich with historical material dating back to Pierceton’s own tomato factory.
This year features A Closer Walk with Patsy Cline by Best Schotz Productions, which runs Aug. 14-17.
This event is sponsored by the Pierceton Chamber and The Old Train Depot in Pierceton.
