The Etna Green Lions Club sponsored the Miss Etna Green Pageant on July 27. There were two age groups of contestants. Kaydence Shepherd was crowned Little Miss Etna Green with Aumrie Weiss granted the first runner up title. The Miss Etna Green title was given to Katie Hepler and Emmalee Manns was chosen as first runner-up.

Five young ladies vied for the title of Little Miss Etna Green, ages 7-11. The contestants were Danielle Bloomfield, Gracie Sands, Harley Shepherd, Kaydence Shepherd and Aumrie Weiss. Those in the Miss Etna Green category, ages 12-17, were Brittany Bloomfield, Katie Hepler and Emmalee Manns.

All contestants were judged on different styles of dress, personality and one-on-one interviews. Entertainment was provided by Ray and Brenda Tolson and Dorothy Ludwig. Master of Ceremonies for the evening was Lion Al Shankey.

Runner-ups were given a bouquet of flowers and the winners were given flowers, a sash and a tiara. Judges for the evening were Delores Surfus, Katlynn Surfuss and Tara Parker. Pageant directors were Lion Connie Manns and Dorothy Ludwig.
