Officers of the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department recently investigated the following incidents:
- Friday, Aug. 2, 10:47 p.m. Traffic stop, driver never licensed.
- Friday, Aug. 2. 10:50 p.m. Alfonzo Gomez of Warsaw reported a hit and run.
- Saturday, Aug. 3, 2:12 a.m. Linda M. Ott of South Bend was found to be operating a vehicle while intoxicated.
- Saturday, Aug. 3, 9:10 a.m. Pam S. Dwyer of Milford reported an unknown person broke the back window of her vehicle.
- Saturday, Aug. 3, 5:55 p.m. Michael W. Israel of Warsaw reported shots fired.
- Saturday, Aug. 3, 7:46 p.m. John H. Barrett Jr. of North Manchester reported the theft of watercraft and a vehicle.
- Saturday, Aug. 3, 8:47 p.m. Complainant in Leesburg reported accident resulting in property damage. Report led to investigation of impaired driving.
- Sunday, Aug. 4, 2:30 a.m. A Warsaw man reported stabbing.
- Sunday, Aug. 4, 11:16 a.m. Kathryn J. Durbin of Warsaw reported that she struck a possibly explosive object on the Barbee Road bridge.
- Sunday, Aug. 4, 3:28 p.m. Joseph Warren of Warsaw reported forced entry and theft.
- Sunday, Aug. 4, 9:04 a.m. Thomas Bauder of Warsaw reported criminal mischief.
- Sunday, Aug. 4, 9:22 a.m. Gas theft reported at Pak A Sak Shell in Warsaw.
- Sunday, Aug. 4, 8:05 p.m. Shane Owens of North Manchester reported a property damage accident.
- Sunday, Aug. 4, 11:05 p.m. A Warsaw woman reported battery.
Warsaw Police Department
Officers of the Warsaw Police Department recently investigated the following incidents:
Friday, Aug. 2, 2:25 p.m. Warsaw man reported battery.
- Saturday, Aug. 3, 12:04 a.m. A Warsaw woman reported battery by means of strangulation.
- Saturday, Aug. 3, 8:40 a.m. Disorderly conduct and battery reported in Warsaw.
- Saturday, Aug. 3, 4:56 a.m. A juvenile in Warsaw threatened suicide. Subject was taken for 24-hour detention.
- Saturday, Aug. 3, 1:23 p.m. Realtor Joyce K. Needler of Warsaw encountered a breaking and entering while showing a house. The suspect fled before police arrived.
- Saturday, Aug. 3, 3:51 p.m. An employee at Marsh Supermarket in Warsaw reported shoplifting. A juvenile male was taken into custody.
- Sunday, Aug. 4, 10:27 a.m. Clarke Timothy Rutledge of Warsaw reported the windshield of his truck had been destroyed.
- Sunday, Aug. 4, 11:46 p.m. Blayne A. Woodcock of Warsaw reported prescription drugs missing.
- Sunday, Aug. 4, 9:41 a.m. Dollar General in Warsaw reported theft.
- Sunday, Aug. 4, 6 p.m. Officers were called to the 2000 block of Patterson Road in reference to a suicide attempt.
- Sunday, Aug. 4, 8:15 p.m. A woman reported trouble with a juvenile in her custody.
Winona Lake Police Department
Officers of the Winona Lake Police Department recently investigated the following incidents:
- Friday, Aug. 2, 1:11 p.m. Brianna Justine Adams of Winona Lake reported a domestic complaint of trespassing by a male subject.
- Saturday, Aug. 3, 3:37 p.m. Disorder conduct of a juvenile was reported in Winona Lake. Drug paraphernalia also found.
- Sunday, Aug. 4, 2:20 a.m. Wanda L. Hamilton of Winona Lake reported trespassing. Danny R. Sullivan was arrested for criminal trespassing.
Syracuse Police Department
Officers of the Syracuse Police Department recently investigated the following incident:
- Saturday, Aug. 3, 11:25 p.m. A Syracuse woman reported a suicide attempt and possession of cocaine.
