Milton Leo Mauk
Milton Leo Mauk, 88, of Warsaw, Ind., passed away at 9:35 a.m. Tuesday, July 16, 2013, in Mason Healthcare and Rehabilitation of Warsaw.
He was born July 23, 1924, in Cumberland, Md., to Leslie and Pearl Mauk. On June 6, 1947, in Goshen, Ind., he was united in marriage to Donna Craig who preceded him on Aug. 6, 2010.
He was a 60 year resident of Kosciusko County, Ind. He faithfully served his country in the Army Air Corps as Corporal during World War II and was discharged in 1945. He was employed as a Supervisor for Artco Metal Finishing of Goshen, for 35 years. In addition he was employed by Mauk’s Auctioneering Service of Warsaw and operated a home-based lawn mower sales business as a hobby. Memberships include the Warsaw American Legion Post #49.
He is survived by his daughters: Judy (Don) Boyer, Winona Lake, Ind.; Tammy Stanley, Warsaw; sons: Tim (Dawn) Mauk, Warsaw; Jon (Judy) Mauk, Warsaw; Rex (Sandy) Mauk of Pierceton, Ind.; 15 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one sister and two brothers.
Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday, July 18, at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, July 19, in the funeral home. Pastors Andy Weaver and Gale Janofski will officiate the services. Interment will be in Hillcrest Cemetery, Pierceton. American Legion Post #49 and VFW Post #1126, both of Warsaw, will render Military Honors.
