Jan Dravecky To Speak At Cancer Services’ Annual Tribute Dinner
Cancer Services of Northeast Indiana will host its annual Tribute Dinner at The Landmark Conference and Convention Centre on Thursday, Sept. 12. Jan Dravecky, wife of former San Francisco Giants Pitcher Dave Dravecky, will speak to guests about the hardships she and her husband endured during his cancer journey, which eventually resulted in the loss of his pitching arm and ended his career.
As in year’s past, this event offers guests an opportunity to pay tribute to those touched by cancer, whether a survivor, caregiver, physician, or lost loved one. The evening includes a chance to share memories with family and friends. Cancer Services will also name this year’s Champion of Hope, an award given to an individual who embodies the mission of the organization through his or her lifelong commitment to enhancing the quality of life of those affected by cancer in Northeast Indiana.
The Tribute Dinner is a special evening for Cancer Services and the community and helps raise important funding for the programs and services for people with cancer and their families in Northeast Indiana.
The event is open to the public. Individual tickets are $100.To RSVP, contact Amber Recker, 260-484-9560 or [email protected].
