Leesburg Man Questioned For Auto Theft
Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department Deputy Shawn Castillo initiated a traffic stop near Walmart in Warsaw Sunday evening on a stolen vehicle. The result was the arrest of Tyler Scott Boocher, 18, 240 EMS T26 Ln., Leesburg, on various charges.
According to KCSD Sgt. Chad Hill, Boocher was arrested and charged with receiving stolen property, possession of marijuana paraphernalia and operating without ever having received a license. The vehicle he was in had been reported stolen out of North Manchester.
Sgt. Hill said North Manchester authorities are at the Kosciusko County Jail today interviewing Boocher regarding the stolen vehicle.
Boocher is being held locally on a $2,000 bond.
Assisting at the scene were officers of the Warsaw Police Department.
