Marjorie Mitterling
Marjorie Mitterling, 94, of Warsaw, Ind., passed away at 7:30 a.m. Sunday, July 7, 2013, in her residence.
She was born in Elkhart, Ind., Dec. 28, 1918, to William and Nellie (Garber) Petro.
She was Warsaw High School graduate and a graduate of the then Secretarial College of South Bend, Ind. She was united in marriage to the love of her life, Francis Mitterling, on Oct. 8, 1938. Marge enjoyed playing golf and attending Home Economics Club with her many friends. She was a homemaker and a member of the Warsaw First Brethren Church for many years as she loved and served the Lord. She received great enjoyment spending time with her grandchildren and family.
She is survived by her daughter: Aleta (Dale) Cross, Klamath Falls, Ore.; her son: Alan (Nancy) Mitterling, Warsaw; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; as sister: Margaret Like, Sebring, Fla.; three nieces and four nephews.
She was proceeded in death by her husband: Francis; her brother: William Petro Jr.; and her sister: Marie Fisher.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday, July 10, at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw. Funeral services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Thursday, July 11, at the funeral home. Pastor Howard Immel will officiate the services. Interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
