Anna Mae Lynch
Anna Mae Lynch, 91, a resident of Mason Health and Rehabilitation Center, Warsaw, Ind., for the past 2 years, passed away there at 6:45 a.m. Thursday, June 27, 2013.
Anna was born on June 24, 1922, to John Henderson Mahaney and Mary Clyde (Bristow) Mahaney in Hartford, Ky. She graduated from Owensboro Senior High School and had been a resident of the Warsaw area since 1976, moving here from Fort Wayne, Ind. She was married on Aug. 24, 1946, to Jesse R. Lynch at Owensboro, Ky. He preceded her in death.
As a homemaker she enjoyed crossword puzzles and sewing. She was a faithful member of First Christian Church of Warsaw where she helped in the nursery and was a member of the Care Bears Ministry. Anna Mae also loved children and enjoyed caring for children in her home.
She is survived by two daughters: Judith (Jeff) Detamore, Garrett, Ind.; Janice (Charles) Cole, North Webster, Ind.; a son: Gary Lynch, Owensboro; three grandchildren: Rebecca Cole; Jaclyn (Wes) Jakacki; Jarod Detamore; a sister: Jean Cooper Seymour, Concord, Calif.; two sister-in-laws: Bonnie (Paul) Hancock, Sorgho, Ky.; and Jean Midkiff, Owensboro; and a brother-in-law: Paul Puckett, Owensboro.
In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by a son: William Mahaney; two sisters: Mary Belle Bryant and Lucille Bell; and four brothers: James Mahaney, John Mahaney, William Mahaney and Ben Hines.
Visitation will take place from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, July 7, at First Christian Church, Warsaw. Funeral services will take place at 3 p.m. Sunday, July 7, with Pastor Gary Boschain of First Christian Church officiating. Burial will take place at a later date in Rosehill-Elmwood Cemetery, Owensboro. Titus Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
