Anna Parsley
Anna Parsley, 84, of Retired Tigers, Warsaw, Ind., passed away at 4:25 a.m. Thursday, June 27, 2013, in Mason Health Care and Rehabilitation, Warsaw.
On May 6, 1929, she was born in Prestonsburg, Ky., to Richard and Aggie (Poe) Gibson. She married Paul D. Parsley on May 24, 1952, in Indianapolis, Ind. He preceded her in death on Nov. 29, 2006.
Anna moved to Warsaw from Indianapolis in 2003. She worked for RCA, Indianapolis for 35 years, retiring in 1996. She also attended Harvest Community Church, Pierceton and volunteered at Millers Merry Manor twice a week for the last several years.
She is survived by two brothers: Sammie Gibson, Scottsburg, Ind.; and Charlie Gibson, Warsaw; four sisters: Betty Zimmerman, Fort Wayne, Ind.; Becky Krotke, Laketon, Ind.; Dottie Teeter, North Manchester, Ind.; and Joyce Arnett, Warsaw.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a son: Paul Richard Parsley; and three brothers: Arnold Gibson, James Gibson and Richard Gibson Jr.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, June 30, at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw. A funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, July 1, at the funeral home with Pastor Glen Hall officiating. Burial will be in Sidney Cemetery, Sidney, Ind.
