Fun For All At Silver Lake Days
The 37th annual Silver Lake Days festival featured rides, games, tractors, booths and events on Friday, June 13-15. In addition to enjoying all that the downtown area had to offer, many Silver Lake residents also hosted garage sales that began at 8 a.m. on Friday that concluded on Saturday. The festival also featured a car show that was sponsored by Silver Lake Lions Club on Friday. The event took place near the conservation building. A Peddler’s Market took place in conjunction with the car show at the Conservation Building.
Other events included an ice cream social, bed racing, a parade, kiddie and queen pageants, a fish and tenderloin fry lunch, a hog roast, corn hole tournaments, dance performances and a live band performance. This year’s parade theme was “Motorcycle Madness.”
