MasterWorks Festival Begins Tonight
The MasterWorks Festival is a Christian classical performing arts festival. Young talents and world-class faculty join in four weeks of instruction and performances, to glorify God through the arts. Forty free public concerts are offered each season, and the first is at 7:30 p.m. tonight at Rodeheaver Auditorium in Winona Lake.
Tonight’s faculty chamber concert will feature Beethoven: Piano Trio in B-flat, Op. 11, Mozart: Piano Quartet in E-flat, K. 493 and Schubert: String Quartet No. 14, “Death and the Maiden.”
MasterWorks is an intensive four-week festival for advanced and passionate students of music, dance, and theater. Each year 250 students from around the globe participate in this unique festival that combines artistic excellence and biblically sound teaching. Students and a faculty of 90 live and work on the campus of Grace College.
