Childhood Obesity Seminar Tonight In Syracuse

IU Health Goshen will present a Childhood Obesity Seminar at 6:30 p.m. tonight at the Syracuse Community Center, 1013 North Long Dr. A registered dietitian will provide information on childhood obesity trends as well as what parents can do to encourage and maintain a healthy lifestyle for the entire family.

Elkhart County residents have identified obesity – along with smoking, diabetes, and access to primary care and mental health services – as their five major health concerns. The list is drawn from a study conducted by Purdue University for IU Health Goshen and Elkhart General Hospital.
