Warsaw Police Department
Officers of the Warsaw Police Department recently investigated the following incidents:
- Sunday, May 12, 10:26 p.m. A woman reported an attempted fraud against a senior citizen.
- Sunday, May 12, 4:30 p.m. Officers were called to West Main Street for an individual threatening suicide.
- Saturday, May 11, 7:50 p.m. Rachel Chalmers reported the theft of narcotics from her vehicle in the 800 block of East Center Street.
- Saturday, May 11, 4:02 a.m. Sara Hoover reported an attempted residential entry to her home on West Center Street. Phillip Hoover, 28, was arrested
- Friday, May 10, 9:25 p.m. Officers were called to investigate a domestic battery on West Center Street that involved a victim being criminally confined. The incident remains under investigation. Phillip Hoover, 28, was arrested.
- Friday, May 10, 9 p.m. Maria Lopez reported the theft of her vehicle from the 1800 block of Nye Street.
- Friday, May 10 5 p.m. Brooke Bays reported a fraud and theft. The incident remains under investigation.
Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department
Officers of the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department recently investigated the following incidents:
- Sunday, May 12, 8:34 a.m. Officers were called to SR 15 for an emergency detention of an individual.
- Saturday, May 11, 9:24 p.m. Officers were called to Leigh Drive for a battery that occurred in the presence of a minor child.
- Saturday, May 11, 6:07 p.m. Deputies responded to a juvenile complaint on North Superior Avenue, Warsaw.
- Saturday, May 11, 1:54 p.m. A woman reported her son had broken out all of the windows in her home in the 3400 block of East 500 South, Warsaw. Joshua Lemler was arrested for criminal mischief.
- Saturday, May 11, 10:03 a.m. Deputies responded to a report of a domestic disturbance on Southwood Drive, Warsaw.
- Friday, May 11, 5:43 p.m. A Pierceton woman reported being harassed.
- Friday, May 11, 5:24 p.m. A trespassing incident was reported in the area of East 400 South and County Farm Road, Warsaw.
