Carson Kerlin Promotes Eisenhower Carnival
Story by Carson Kerlin, Junior Reporter at Eisenhower Elementary
Good afternoon, this is Carson Kerlin reporting to you from Eisenhower Elementary School in Warsaw. Today is Friday, April 26, and tomorrow is our school carnival, weather permitting!
The annual carnival will be held from 2 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Saturday, April 27. Most events will be outdoors. In case of bad weather, the rain date is scheduled for 2 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Saturday, May 4.
The Eisenhower PTO has made big changes to the carnival this year. All the events will be free of charge, but bring some money because our student council will be selling their famous cotton candy for $3 and Culver’s™ will be offering one scoop of frozen custard with one topping for $2. We will also have a light concession stand with drinks and snacks ranging from $1 to $3. There will be no tickets, tokens, or bracelets this year and no need to stand in line for prizes.
Some of our favorite games from previous years will still be there like Ring the Gensinger, Ring the Pop, face painting, and the Cake Walk. Some of the new activities include several big inflatables like the Rocky Mountain Wall, a petting zoo, and pony rides.
I would like to recommend coming to our Circus-themed Carnival outside this Saturday afternoon. It sounds like a fun way to spend time with friends and family. Hope to see you there! This is Carson Kerlin signing off from StaceyPageOnline.com.
