Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department
Officers of the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department recently investigated the following incidents:
- Monday, April 22, 11:02 a.m. When attempting to verify an address for Jeffrey Allen Evans, they determine he was no longer living where he registered as a sex offender.
- Monday, April 22, 1:20 p.m. Norfolk Southern reported a theft. Police discovered the subjects, Matthew Gardner Simcox, West Market Street, Warsaw, and Aaron W. Ring, North Lake Street, Warsaw, walking along the tracks.
- Tuesday, April 23 3:43 p.m. Police discovered an active meth lab at West Old Road 30, Etna Green.
- Tuesday, April 23, 7:46 p.m. Mary J. Coffey reported the theft of medication from her home.
Warsaw Police Department
Officers of the Warsaw Police Department recently investigated the following incidents:
- Monday, April 22, 8:53 a.m. Kosciusko REMC reported a theft of utilities.
- Monday, April 22, 4:21 p.m. Michael Wayne Thomas reported a theft from his residence.
- Monday, April 22, 11:03 a.m. Officers were dispatched to a threat to life call. It was reported the subject damaged property and threatened the life of a property owner. He was taken to the Bowen Center for emergency detention.
- Monday, April 22, 8:45 p.m. Perry Odell Chavers Jr. reported a burglary at his residence.
- Monday, April 22, 10:42 p.m. Police responded to a call of a possible missing person. The missing person was located in the residence behind the home of the reporting relative and lied about his identity. Police discovered he had consumed alcoholic beverages and was under the age of 21. The missing person was arrested and taken to the Kosciusko County Jail.
- Tuesday, April 23, 11:17 p.m. Police responded to a report of a suspicious person looking to vehicle’s windows at East Clark Street, Warsaw.
- Tuesday, April 23, 11:31 p.m. Police responded to a call of a male adult needing emergency detention.
- Wednesday, April 24 10:01 a.m. Police responded to a call of an individual needing emergency detention.
- Wednesday, April 24, 11:22 a.m. A Warsaw woman reported her daughter had received threats.
