First Annual Taste Of Agriculture Chili Cook-Off
Do you have the best chili recipe around? If your answer is yes, then you need to enter it in the first annual Taste of Agriculture chili cook-off contest.
The cook-off is a part of “A Taste of Agriculture in Kosciusko County: A Family Affair,” being held from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 9, at the Kosciusko County Community Fairgrounds.
Gather up your favorite recipe and a few of your friends, family or business associates and showcase your chili. A chili team may consist of at least one person or as many people as you need to prepare and serve the chili. A team may enter up to three different chili recipes.
Attendees at the Taste of Ag will choose the overall winner. First-, second- and third-place prizes will be awarded, plus the first-place winner will receive a trophy and bragging rights. A special traveling trophy is being created for the event.
For complete rules and an entry form please visit the Purdue Extension of Kosciusko County website, or call the office at 574-372-2340. Entries are due by April 5.
Ag Day is sponsored by the Kosciusko County: Agriculture Awareness Committee, Extension Office, Farm Bureau and Farm Credit Mid America and supported by the Kosciusko County Community Fair.
