Sobriety Checkpoint Scheduled For Tonight
The Kosciusko County DUI Taskforce, comprised of county and local law enforcement agencies, will participate in roving patrols and a sobriety checkpoint during the month of March. The project is made possible through grants received by the Governor’s Council on Impaired and Dangerous Driving.
DUI: Taskforce Indiana is a year-long statewide project aimed at reducing alcohol-related crashes, deaths and injuries. With the increase in traffic, the DUI Taskforce is committed to making the roads safer by increased police presence and DUI enforcement throughout Kosciusko County.
For Kosciusko County, the DUI Taskforce will have roving patrols from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m. tonight through early Saturday. Also, a sobriety checkpoint will be held at NAPA, 812 N. Detroit St., Warsaw, tonight.
Law enforcement agencies involved in the DUI Taskforce are Kosciusko County Sheriffs’ Department, Mentone Police Department, Milford Police Department, Pierceton Police Department, North Webster Police Department, Silver Lake Police Department, Syracuse Police Department, Warsaw Police Department and Winona Lake Police Department.
