Love And Theft, Casey James Headline Fair
Stephen Barker Liles and Eric Gunderson are Love and Theft and they are the main act slated for this summer’s Kosciusko County Community Fair.
The Academy of Country Music nominated country duo and RCA Records recording artists will headline the fair’s country music concert on Tuesday, July 9. They’ll take the stage at 8 p.m. after opening act Casey James.
Barker and Gunderson share lead vocals, are said to harmonize like a church choir, and bolster their songs with their own guitar playing. Love and Theft are known for their hits like “Angel Eyes,” “She’s Amazing,” “Amen” and “Thinking of You (and Me).”
“Angel Eyes” earned the duo their first CMT Music Awards nomination for Duo Video of the Year and will be among the many songs performed in the Kosciusko County Community Fairground grandstand in July.
Opening for Love and Theft will be Casey James, who had a self-titled album released in March 2012 where it landed solidly at No. 2 on the Billboard Country Albums chart. James, the American Idol season 9 third-place finalist, co-wrote nine of the 11 tracks on his album.
James, who is known for “Crying on a Suitcase,” “Undone” and “Let’s Don’t Call it a Night,” is currently touring with Taylor Swift on her “The Red Tour.”
Tickets for both shows will be on sale at 8 a.m. Saturday, May 18. Ticket prices will be announced at a later date.
Also appearing at this year’s fair will be Susie McEntire. (See story) McEntire will be the headline act for the fair’s opening ceremonies on Monday, July 8.
