Republican Women Collect Donations For Soliders
The Kosciusko County Republican Women’s Club is celebrating March as Soldiers Breakfast Month and are collecting breakfast and snack items to send to soldiers in Afghanistan.
Those items are currently being accepted at the Kosciusko County Treasurer’s office in the courthouse.
Members are also being sought for the KCRWC. Membership is open to anyone interested in supporting the club and who share Republican values. Dues are $25 – $20 of which are for state and national fees. Membership dollars plus a bake sale and two GOP fish fries are key fundraisers for the local club.
Upcoming events for the KCRWC will be the April 3 Republican Party Fish Fry and bake sale, the Lincoln Day Dinner in May; a booth at the Kosciusko County Community Fair in July; the 37th Bennial Republican Women’s Convention in Louisville, Ky., Sept. 20-23; the Hall of Fame Dinner in September; an Oct. 2 Republican Party Fish Fry and a Dec. 4 Christmas party.
The Kosciusko County Republican Women’s Club is headed by president Sue Ann Mitchell, vice president Rhonda Helser, secretary Allison McSherry and treasurer Lynn Christiansen.
Women interested in joining are encouraged to mail the $25 membership dues to Kosciusko County Republican Women’s Club, 6200 E. McKenna Rd., Warsaw, IN 46582. Include a name, address, phone number and email address with the dues.
