North Webster Library News
It’s time for spring cleaning and clearing out a winter’s worth of clutter from closets, basements, and garages. But what will you do with all that stuff?
Come to the North Webster Library’s ebay for Beginners Class at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 9, and learn how to turn your trash into cash or find that once-in-a-lifetime bargain online. The library will show you the in’s and out’s of buying and selling on eBay. The class is free and no advance registration is needed. Just show up and learn all about eBay.
It’s tax time and Uncle Sam wants his share of your cash. Tax forms and tax information booklets are available free of charge at the Library. A link on the Library’s website also enables you to download federal and state tax forms as well as file your taxes electronically. Just go to www.nweb.lib.in.us and click on the “Federal and State Forms” link at the bottom right hand corner of the home page.
While taxes aren’t fun to think about, the library has plenty going on throughout the month to keep your mind off the tax man. From book clubs to Euchre to recipe swapping, there’s something to tickle everyone’s interest. Stop by the library and check out the information table to see what all is going on and join in the fun.
There will be some tall tales in the Youth Services Department next week with Preschool Story Time from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 13, as Mrs. Pam makes favorite storybook characters come alive with stories, finger plays, games, and crafts.
At 10 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 12, Mrs. B takes Story Time to the North Webster Day Care as she shares her favorite stories with the two and three year olds and the three and four year olds classes. Then on Friday, March 15, the three year old class at The Ark Preschool is treated to Story Time with Mrs. Pam.
Don’t forget the Library has three contests going on this month – March Madness for Men, New Item Month, and Cemetery Walk Essay Contest. There are lots of chances to win, so get involved. Stop by the front desk or check out the library website for details.
