The Lakes Area Autism Network will hold its February meeting from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 14, at the Winona Lake Grace Brethren Church, 1200 Kings Highway in Winona Lake.

“We are excited to have (a representative of) Jacob’s Ladder, a pediatric rehabilitation center which recently opened an office in Warsaw, as our speaker for the meeting,” said Barbara Terry, MA, manager of autism-related services for The Bowen Center. “We are very pleased to welcome this agency to the Kosciusko County community as a locally-based and necessary related service for children with autism.

“We also are anxious to introduce Lighthouse ABA agency which will open a local facility in collaboration with the Bowen Center, in the spring 2013. Lighthouse staff will also be at the February LAAN meeting to begin their introduction to the community.”
