Incidents
Officers of the Warsaw Police Department recently investigated the following incidents:
- Jan. 14, 12:01 p.m. Walmart Supercenter, Warsaw reported a theft. A juvenile shoplifter is in custody.
- Jan. 14, between 9 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Leland H. Hartle of Warsaw reported a lost wallet.
- Jan. 15, 9:59 a.m. One female was reported as a possible intoxicated driver. Female and her vehicle were found at the Eagles on West Center Street.
Accidents
Officers of the Warsaw Police Department recently investigated the following accidents:
- Monday, Jan. 14, 3:50 p.m. on 300 North and Shelden Street. Driver: Michelle A. Harsha, 46; and Teresa J. Wilson, 43. Harsha was southbound on 300 North. After stopping at the intersection stop sign, Harsha pulled into the intersection and was struck in the rear by Wilson, who had the right of way. Damages: up to $5,000
- Tuesday, Jan. 15, 6:01 p.m. Anchorage Road. Drivers: Brittney A. Prater, 19, South Lake Sharon Road, Warsaw; and Josh D. Fricke, 30, 15th Street, Warsaw. Prater rear-ended Fricke’s vehicle when Fricke slowed for turning traffic. Damages: up to $2,500
- Tuesday, Jan. 15, 7:01 p.m. East Center and North Park Avenue streets. Drivers: Dylan S. Lockridge, 16, North Shagbark Drive, Warsaw; and Kyle D. Babcock, 50, Ringneck Trail, Warsaw. Lockridge was traveling south on South Park Avenue and failed to give the right of way to Babcock, who was traveling east on East Center Street. Babcock complained of pain and was transported by medics to a nearby hospital. Lockridge was drug tested following the accident. Damages: up to $25,000
