NEW CARLISLE – The Triton girls basketball team put on an outside shooting show Tuesday night at New Prairie.

Kylie Mason led the way as the Trojans hit nine treys in posting a 66-47 Northern State Conference win over the Cougars.

Mason drained six triples in scoring a team-high 22 points as the Class 1-A No. 10 Trojans remained undefeated in league play.

Shana Anderson scored 16 points as Triton improved to 10-4 overall and 4-0 in the NSC. Taylor Hatfield had 14 points for the Trojans in the win.

Madison Cody scored a game-hhigh 25 points, but was the lone player in double figures for the winless Cougars. New Prairie drops to 0-14 overall and 0-4 in conference action.

Triton won the junior varsity contest by a 34-24 final.

Triton hosts NSC foe Culver Friday night. New Prairie plays at NSC opponent Jimtown Saturday.
