Linky, Rhoades Lead Frosh Tigers
MIDDLEBURY – The combination of Ben Linky and Riley Rhoades turned in big performances Thursday night to pace the Warsaw freshman boys basketball team to a win at Northridge.
Linky and Rhoades each netted 10 points as the Tigers topped the host Raiders 38-17 in a Northern Lakes Conference contest.
Linky also dished out five assists and Rhoades grabbed six rebounds as the frosh Tigers improved to 9-1 overall and 3-0 in league play.
Tyler Packard scored eight points and Paul Marandet had four for the winners. Luke Wilson, Lucas Cone and Caleb Garner each added two points. Wilson also had six rebounds and Marandet had four assists.
Warsaw plays at Fort Wayne Snider Saturday night.
